Swift Filters Moves Into New Manufacturing Facility
(May 28, 2013) Swift Filters, Inc. recently transferred manufacturing and administrative operations to its newly-built facility in Oakwood Village. At 42,500 square feet, the new plant is three times the size of the company's previous facility in Oakwood. Swift's previous plant has been retained, and is now the center of the firm's CNC machining operations.
Swift's physical expansion follows years of rapid sales growth. The company has been a winner of eight straight Weatherhead 100 Awards as one of the fastest growing companies in Northeast Ohio. The company designs and manufacturers high quality industrial filter elements, including both custom-engineered and replacement filter products. For over 40 years it has been certified as an approved source for the U. S. Department of Defense and private aerospace manufacturers. Its proprietary products include SwiftGreen™ filter elements, which are sold worldwide to the wind turbine industry for gearbox lubrication. Additionally, the company makes elements for the power generation, mining, oil and gas, oil reclamation, fluid power and injection molding industries among others. Swift also designs and makes filter elements for the high performance racing industry.
