Technical Sales Engineer
We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive the sales and distribution of Swift Filters’ products. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for customer service and technical support, building relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end users while identifying new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with distributors and end users to understand their needs and provide filtration solutions.
- Cultivate long-term customer relationships and deliver world-class customer service.
- Research and pursue new markets beyond Swift Filters’ traditional industries.
- Assist with sales strategy development, target planning, and achieving sales goals.
- Provide detailed quotes and product information to customers and prospects.
- Travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows (~25% or more).
- Support reverse engineering efforts and competitive product analysis.
- Analyze competitors’ pricing and delivery capabilities; provide actionable insights to management.
- Work closely with engineering and operations to ensure successful order fulfillment.
- Provide territory reports and market insights to the management team.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support company goals.

Professional Experience:
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fluid power, filtration, or a related manufacturing sector
- Strong background in technical sales and customer service
- Ability to simplify and explain complex product information
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and territory development
- Experience using ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions preferred) and CRM/contact management software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Willing and able to travel at least 25% or more of the time
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred
