Technical Advisory Services
Swift Filters has been a trusted partner for hydraulic filtration testing and advisory services. With over 40 years of industry expertise and a commitment to excellence, we offer filtration solutions to help our customers maximize the performance and reliability of their hydraulic systems.

Filtration Performance Audits and Assessment
Swift Filters knows that hydraulic equipment often operates in environments that aren’t accurately re-created by bench tests in a lab.
Recreating all the variables and stresses that affect a hydraulic system can be a significant challenge, and previous standards didn’t require testing procedures that came close to mimicking those variables.

Our filtration experts offer complete filtration audits and assessments and will look at all the key parameters which impact efficient operations and performance, as well as total cost of ownership.

Hydraulic Filtration Testing and Advisory Services
In order to maintain equipment performance, a hydraulic filter must capture contaminants of a specific size at a specific efficiency, otherwise, equipment fails eventually.

The new ISO 23369 multipass method standard is an improvement towards indicating optimum particle size and efficiency, but not every filter is designed to perform under this new standard. We are able to engineer an economical filtration solution that best fits our customers performance and budgetary needs.

System Analysis
A comprehensive analysis of hydraulic systems is conducted to identify potential inefficiencies, contamination sources, and filtration improvement opportunities.
Based on our findings, we provide tailored recommendations for filter selection, maintenance practices, and system upgrades to enhance performance and extend equipment lifespan.

Filtration Testing
Our state-of-the-art testing facility is equipped with advanced equipment and instrumentation to evaluate the performance of hydraulic filtration systems. We conduct a variety of tests, including:

Particle Analysis

We analyze the size, distribution, and concentration of particles in hydraulic fluid to assess filtration efficiency and identify potential contamination issues.

Pressure Drop Measurement

We measure pressure drop across filters to evaluate flow resistance and determine filter performance under operating conditions.

Filter Efficiency Testing

We assess the filtration efficiency of hydraulic filters using standardized test methods to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

Water Removal Testing

We evaluate the effectiveness of water removal filters in removing moisture from hydraulic fluid to prevent corrosion and component damage.

Recommendations

Based on our findings, we provide tailored recommendations for filter selection, maintenance practices, and system upgrades to enhance performance and extend equipment lifespan.

Training and Education

We offer training workshops and educational resources to empower your team with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage hydraulic filtration systems and prevent costly downtime.
